Traditional Information*

A valuable, if underutilized, herb with many uses. It is an antiviral agent especially effective for inhibiting herpes and influenza viruses. This fragrant herb is a carminative, emmenagogue and diaphoretic. Hyssop is appropriate for intestinal viruses, colds, flu, nausea, flatulence and delayed menses. Topically it can be useful for herpetic sores along with Lemon Balm and Licorice.
