A wonderful aromatic member of the mint family, Bergamot is a carminative, diaphoretic, nervine and emmenagogue. The herb can be used for gas, nausea, intestinal viruses, colds, influenza and stress headaches. Topically it can be applied to first degree burns as a cool liniment.
