Traditional Information*

A warming bitter, with a long history of use as a food and medicine throughout northern Africa, India, China and the Middle East. As a spice it reduces nausea, gas and gastric irritation. It is also used to lower blood sugar levels in adult onset diabetes. Fenugreek is useful for leaky gut syndrome, to bind endotoxins in the gut and for hyperlipidemia.
