A rich source of vegetal silica that acts as a co-factor with calcium to increase bone mass and density, and stimulates the maturation of the osteoblasts. It gradually helps to reverse osteoporosis, speeds the healing of fractures and improves nail strength. Horsetail is also a diuretic useful for urinary tract infections especially with bladder irritation and blood in the urine.
