Traditional Information*

A styptic and anti-hemorrhagic for use in menorrhagia, bleeding ulcers, excessive post partum bleeding, blood in the urine and bleeding hemorrhoids. It is also an astringent and diuretic indicated for cloudy, foul-smelling urine, urinary tract infections, urethritis, diarrhea and dysentery. The Eclectic physicians used Capsella for fibroids, especially with heavy bleeding.
