Traditional Information*

Wild Yam is indicated in cases of biliousness, abdominal, uterine, ovarian or hepatic pain, colic, gas pain, gall bladder spasms,  menstrual cramps and spastic colon. It can be used as a mild anti-inflammatory agent for rheumatoid arthritis. Wild Yam is also a cholagogue and can be used along with Chelidonum and Chlonanthus for gallstones (use this formula only under a physician’s supervision).
